Apartment To Do List - aka Motivator

I can't believe it's already well into February!  What happened to January?

Anyways, today I'm just posting my list of needed improvements to my apartment to jump start some motivation.      So, here goes:

Paint Kitchen - the walls are just dirty and a little more yellow toned that the sandstone Behr that is in the rest of the apartment.
Paint all trim - it's yellowed from age, so not much differentiation from the rest of the walls.
Paint closet door hardware Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB) - they are all mismatched and half painted from the slobs before me.

New Year Start

Those that know me also know that I am an obsessive about writing, re-writing, and editing to-do lists.  One of the items that I keep rolling over from each to-do list for the past several months is "Start my own blog."  So here I am.  I look forward to the coming year and growing as a blogger.  I have been reading design blogs for over a year now, and have been so inspired.  What did we ever do before blogs?

My goal is for this to be a lifestyle blog dedicated to decorating, design, DIYing, style (note: not fashion), books, and whatever else suits my fancy!  This will also serve as an online diary to share my improvements of my first apartment in Chicago.
